Koinonia Academy was founded in 1984. The school was first located in Warren, NJ, but moved to its current location in 1997, greatly expanding its campus and facitilites. "Koinonia" itself is a Greek word, meaning "Fellowship in the Holy Spirit."
"For years, Koinonia Academy has been providing an outstanding Catholic education to students who give great promise of being part of the renewal of the Catholic church in the United States. Not only does the Academy assist in the work of Catholic education, but it sows seeds that will reap a very significant harvest for the Church in the future; in fact it's happening already."
